Because of its forgiving and user friendly nature the Jester  became a firm favourite with the recreational surfer as well as the competitor. Chosen by coaches and instructors as the ideal platform for teaching kayak surfing, it was the Jester's ability to ride the smallest ripples to the 25 ft monster waves of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, combined with the ease with which total control could be maintained in the soup that made the Jester such an easy yet exiting boat to paddle.
